In 2003, at the suggestion of our local church pastor, our family started a Thanksgiving tradition that we hope your family will also embrace and enjoy. Every year we sit down together and list items for which we are thankful (family, friends, pets, jobs, talents, vacations, toys, our church, health, etc). Writing each item on a Post-It note, we simply acknowledge God’s goodness for providing that item and thank Him for all that we are given. We then decorate our refrigerator (or a wall) with the stickies, leaving them there through the holidays as
a reminder of all the ways we are blessed and that “Every good and perfect gift is from Him” (James 1:17).Have a joyful Thanksgiving! (photo of Tristan, age 6)
